My name is Lynn Meng. I am a teacher at the Institute for IntensiveEnglish at Union County College. Union County College is inElizabeth, New Jersey. Elizabeth is a big city. People from all overthe world live in this city. We have a large English as a SecondLanguage (ESL) program. More than 1800 students are studying ESL.Our students are from 72 different countries and they speak 80different languages. We have 70 teachers. I teach Level 3 and Level 5.

The students are friendly and talkative. They study hard. I lovemy job!

My students like to ask me questions. Where are you from? Are youmarried? How old are you? I am from the United States. I live in NewJersey. I’m married and I have two daughters. One is in high school,and one is in college. My husband is form China. He is a librarian.Don’t ask my age! I always say that I’m 25.
